Perhaps a little chaos every now and then isn't nearly as bad as I thought.

Well. When life is bad, it's best to remember that things can always be worse. These curses, for example. Some of them are dreadful, however they come to an end eventually. Why am I- Take heart from that.

Looking back, this entire month has been nothing short of a three-ring circus.

It is amazing that, after eight months in the City (it will be nine at the end of January), nothing much has changed. Life as usual, I suppose.



....We really do need to dispose of this tree. There are needles everywhere. Stuck in the carpet. Scattered on the coffee table and the couch and other surrounding furniture. I'm sure I'll be finding them for months, which is quite bothersome.

Though the apartment does smell rather nice- Hikaru has been experimenting with recipes for the Tianzi's upcoming party.

How is the new year finding everyone? I'm aware it has been some time since I posted last.

I have already spoken with Lieutenant Hawkeye on the matter, but I would like to keep communication open between us- I've tried to remain abreast of all suspicious incidents reported thus far on the Network, though managing the prison takes much of my attention.

Since I am the only Warden candidate who has yet to speak for myself (Liz's disclaimer was entirely her own doing), I will rectify that now.

I am a shinigami, and have been since the time of my birth. Shinigami, for those unfamiliar with the term, translates to 'god of death.' It is a grave responsibility in the world I hale from, and, while I am still learning, I do take my duties seriously. Should I be elected to this position whether I want it or not, I will apply the same determination and dedication.

As Warden, I will not tolerate disorder in any shape or form (as Liz so kindly pointed out, remodeling the prison may in fact become a top order of business- I do not deny this, nor do I apologize for it).

Interpret that as you will.

Justice is an imperfect thing, but I will strive to make it perfect.

As such, the unit does request any interested parties to show discretion, a knowledge of international law, an immaculate criminal record, and references in order to judge your character. Additionally, we shall need to know your availability, and any requirements you may have on the part of a potential employer.
